After testing for a couple of weeks now, I have retired my Go Pro Hero 7 and am very happy with the Osmo Action. Full review is also coming soon, but I feel that DJI understand Watersports better than GoPro does now. The Hydrophobic coating on the Lens Cover and Screens, better stabilisation when in a linemount and almost no lens distortion are just some of the things that DJI have done way better and make the user experience as a kiter much better. There are some small things I would like, but those can be added or changed in Firmware. Best part is, the Osmo action does not crash.

Is there a water proof remote for the Dji cameras?

Osmo can't use reelsteady go, it's the single best way to stabilize your cam footage, if you care about that gopro 7 is the only option. check out reelsteady.

I think the fogging case was with older models.

6 and 7 don't need an extra housing, right?

I don't on my 6.

Wha-aaaaaat?!

I stopped paying attention because I assumed they still wanted a case. What IPX rating? Google google...
Kamikize, what egg did you lie under?
They kept using cases in the models after the 2 I have... so I just stopped paying attention.

Not yet. Just a matter of time before DJI makes one, or third party manufactures make one. Personally I am hoping for gesture control like on the Mavic Air.

I’d say the camera electronic stabilization keeps getting better. And most of the high end editors have features for stabilizing video. Reelsteady can be purchased as an add on for premiere.

I've been using the Rylo 360 camera for skiing this winter. The stabilizing and auto level is crazy good. It's also quite a bit smaller than the Fusion.

Does the rylo need a lot of post to get it levelled, or does it come straight levelled out of the cam?

[...]Under VSCO’s ownership, Rylo will focus exclusively on building out its video editing tools for mobile. The company tells us it will not continue to manufacture and sell its signature device but will continue to honor the warranty on previously sold cameras.

GoPro's as always and with excellent results as has been my experience for many years. I just picked up a GoPro Max and am just learning to process the imagery. It has some good potential, I edited this on my phone but still have a lot to learn. It is a screen capture hence the so so image quality. That is one of the things I need to work on still.
