What height does it start becoming Dangerous that you can go unconcious or die from impact if you crashed during a jump.

There is no safe height.
That being said, the best way to get really big air is to fly very powered and there is more potential to get hurt or killed.
Anytime you put up a kite, you assume some risk of death and injury.
Of course anytime you wake up you have some chance of dying too.

According to "Inuries in jumpers" World Journal of Orthopedics, 2016 Mar 18, if you land head or chest first at 11m 50% of the jumpers died. If you don't get a head injury, the jump height for 50% fatality rate is 22m. so 20m seems about right. Most of these jumps in the article cited are from bridges on to land but I'm not sure if you safer from land or water because if you get knocked out you can drown in water. Since 20m is in world record height territory, I think it's safe for most of us to just jump as high as you want. The bigger dangers are landing in shallow water, deliberately jumping a pier and not making it or doing jumps on dry land. Kiteboarding is in fact an "extreme sport" so there's plenty of risk to it. After you have been kiting for a long time it's easy to get blase about the dangers but they are still there.

Just make sure you do your line wear checks very thoroughly and don't let them get too old...
Gear failure can wreck you big time because it's so unexpected..

no to be a dick but come on man?? How dangerous is it to cross the street? It's a jump on water, could fly high and land like a feather, or could go 2 meters up and get rocked. There is no answer to your question. Kind of intermediate kiter, but raced motorcycles for years, we always tried to have the best safety precautions but shit happens, same with any extreme sport, if you are that worried, don't do it, you have that choice to jump
