Hello everybody,
does anybody have experience if there is any Wear OS watch that has a touch screen lock that can be used for water sports at all???
I haven't found any review online that states you can swim or surf with your app open on the watch. I have a TICWATCH S2 with WOO app installed and the same moment it touches water,
either it turns off screen or it goes back from your woo or any other tracking app to the watch face? any app that helps that situation maybe?
its really annoying, to ride with it...
Thank you

Sony Smartwatch 3 has screen lock which works perfectly on Xensr watch app. But guess what, with Woo app the screenlock does not work. So it has to be app dependent and I've contacted Woo about it a couple of times. And guess what, no response and no new app. Also my local beaches are not added to app..
Woo going bankrupt, fired all customer service and developers??

Not that you do anything with this but I already read problems about it and therefore bought an apple watch 3 for almost the same amount and it works perfectly with the Woo!

Actually cant say that about WOO support, I got a reply from woo support last week from Kyle saying: "I will contact our development team to see if they have any ideas or plans to help with this problem."
Regards, Kyle."
because MOBVOI ticwatch has their own swimming pool app that goes by default into screen touch lock mode and works fine, so I think the woo app needs to make use of that existing setting/option...
otherwise I dont see any WEAR OS device beeing able using WOO app...
samsung has waterlock mode as well but of course its not wear OS

thx Leon, I will try this summer if the problem doesn't get solved to find a used one apple watch 3,
several questions for you if you dont mind:
does it matter wich version Iwatch to buy, regarding water resistance?
can I connect it with my android phone? or do I need an iphone for it?
does it lose BT connection when the board gets submerged?
thx in advance

Hi Johnniek,
1- From version 2 they all are 50m water resistant and can run the Woo app.
2- Yes but its no ''match made in heaven'' and you can not connect to your Woo app, ýou not own an ipad?
3- Only happens once to me but my arm got deep under water, then easy to reconnect.

no ''match made in heaven''
no no ipad either...
I get that, I only need it to see jumps in real time and for running, walking or biking without phone,
I assume it can sync with apps like strava or ghostracer over wifi as well if not bluetooth?
the woo syncs with the app anyway (my Samsung phone cannot be connected same time with the watch either to the woo device)...
MOBVOI will probably accept my retourn of their TICWATCH S2, soon I get my money back will look either for a cheaper one or a used one
thank you
