Why would a longer bar cause a lag? This doesn’t seem to make sense.

I use the 50 cm bar. I usually fly the kite in 20+ knots. If I was flying it in lighter winds, I might use the longer bar, but probably not because I am too lazy to switch bars.

I use a 55cm ozone bar on my soul 12 seems alright. Could be a little faster. Notice the new force bar comes in a 63cm any one tried one of these yet and know if it vastly improves speed onthe 12? Any one using an ozone bar on one and has tuned the bar at the knots at the end? Which knot was best and have you tried putting a knot between knots two and three to increase performance? Any better?

I think the 50cm bar is small for my 10m Soul. I use a 52cm F-one bar on mine now. I would want a 55 for the 12m, I think.

60cm bar all the way - 17m lines for a little more windrange and big air control

Can you still loop the kite on 17m lines on a 12 without it hitting the water? I am using 20m ones and the loop comes very close to the water. Can’t seem to heli loop it on 20m lines before hitting the water on my 12.
it’s too slow.

I down loop my 12m Soul with 15m lines on virtually every gybe and sometimes on tacks. No problem.
I use a 50cm Ozone bar but would probably use a wider one if I had one.
