easily reset chickenloops

Postby Laughingman » Mon Apr 08, 2019 1:30 pm

Hi all

I saw someone had posted a link to a chickenloop which instantly reset by clicking it back in the holder, so hoping someone can point me back to that one I cannot seem to find the thread it was in, also who else is making easy to use chickenloops?
I know someone will ask why bother with it so I will answer that ahead of time, I use a sliding rope with an antal ring which requires me to open my chickeloop and thread the chickenloop around the antal ring and then reclose the chickenloop, so if I could do this more easily that would be great...

We used that way back in the day. I thought it was determined it took too much force to release under high loads?

I hope the ozone method becomes a standard as it looks very simple

God,

Here we go again...you realize this is $110, no force needed?

Plus, a slinding rope and a long chicken loop = too long.

I hope not. Sick and tired of propriety gadgets.

:thumb: :thumb: Unless you have really long arms when using a slider rope your main concern should be chicken loop length not the extra half second it takes to engage it. Now all things being equal (including price and weight) why not.

Is it just that picture or does this bar only have like 8" of throw...?

It has more throw than most bars. More than a Northtone quad trust bar. Unfortunately the chicken loop is inferior to the Ozone.
