Interesting idea Bruno.

Would be interesting to get feedback from the megaloopers.

Do you also have something to slow down the kite?

IMO that would make kiteboarding safer.

yes, good question. The only way I can imagine with big depower (IMO not that great, I prefer flag out)

But maybe also flags to one depower line?

Since I know Bruno stands up for safety, I am sure he has a good solution for it.

Interesting! Would love to make my Peak3 12m faster but the bar looks quite complicated. What happened to the pulley only version? Seems easier to make than the latest dual bar contraption. Not as good I'm assuming?
EDIT:
Never mind, guess I should have read past the pictures: :D
"This one doesn't allow a "return to neutral" of the front lines. Doesn't work !
Placing bungees on the front lines won't solve it."

Looks awesome as a concept. I'm not really thrilled about having two bars though. If it could use the pulley thing that doesn't work, it'd be a lot more interesting to me.

Without bar : no return to neutral of the front lines. They will tend to stay at different "lengths" so the kite will go to one side. If someone knows a way to avoid that, contact me.

Upper bar : it is light and troublefree. Really not a problem I guess (I didn't test water relaunch in adverses conditions).

Safety : I thought I could let brands use their brains a little bit !
There is a small ring at 3 or 4 meters height, where the front lines cross. It avoids the control bar to rotate 180° when your hands are off for any reason. It can be used to connect a depower line.

An interesting feature of this double bar is that one can choose the strength of the turn accelerator.
If you want as much speed as possible and not much lift, place the front lines at the ends of the upper bar.
If you want less speed and more lift, reduce the distance between the front lines.

As much as I love your stuff I actually don’t see the value relative to the risks. Drop your kite then try to untangle that mess. I see advantages in simplicity or covered technologies like the click bar.

Wasn’t it the first Switchblade bar with the pulleys and all the pinched fingers / wrapped lines / death loops? What can go wrong will go wrong.

Ok may be for racing in low wind with big kite where they really don’t care about a relaunch.
