Interesting if things get mixed...can lead to new ideas and better gear.
We can only win.
Wishing everyone good luck with their new gear
Well, I did not see big inventions in kiteboarding in the last years, except from the Switchblade receiving new colors, the Rebel getting some bridles but everything basically remains the same. Doesn´t make anybody a better kiteboarder.
OK, now there is some bit of foiling going on and the wingsurfers try to make some market shares. We will see in the future how the market is accepting these new toys.
But of course for an operator of an advertisement based forum new equipment is the only way to go. I fully understand your thinking. I would think the same way being in your situation. Funnily you have been using the same kite for years now
I get only bored by all this marketing bloat going on right now with gamechangers and benchmarkers around every corner.
You can read pages full of changes that have been made between every year but if you take a closer look at the spare part lists you will see that most of the kites of all manufacturers have the same bridle lines, same bladders, etc for their models for at least 5 years back many even more. So I personally feel being fooled by the companies around. New colors don´t make me spent my money any more.
