They stopped water kites production...

Not sure if all now.

Strange that they don’t use the .com website anymore...it gets forwarded to the .net

Seems like they are now totally out of business.

Only selling lines and a trainer kite : https://flexifoil.com/collections/land-kiting

Sad knowing their history and the legacy behind it.

Yeh, it's a great shame to see such a longstanding brand finally out of business.

Why is that a shame? Their products obviously did not make us run to the shops... We can do without them. New brands poppin up every year...

Hadlow won 5 world titles with them so it is a shame.
was a pedigree name.
Shit management clearly.
Would be good to see it reborn but highly unlikely.

Agreed, never could understand why some people simply get attached to a brand or a name they often no nothing about, owners or management.

As for Hadlow he would have won his world titles with or without Flexifoil. Since when was a kite the issue in winning a competition?

My first kite was a Blade in 1998 and with all their experience in kite manufacturing, was surprised by how long it took them to get an inflatable kite on the market (2003 or 2004?), bad management...

Flexifoil was a great brand and it's a pity to see them go as they were one of the first main stream manufacturers that made kiting more accessible. I always felt they failed to adapt quick enough, they just kept re-hashing rasta colour kites.

It’s called nostalgia lol.
Madrid and Zidane,
McClaren and Prost,
Hadlow and Flexifoil.
No-one’s advocating a government bailout
Other kite brands do exist but none have the same tie in with the only 5 time world champion....hope you understand now
