I think their kite camera was their last roll of the dice. They made some great quailty equipment back in the day. I tried the hadlow id and didnt think much of it. Their designs seemed to be behind the likes of slingshot cabrinha etc from what I understand the company is run by the son of a dutch business man who owned the company for a number of years.

I think Flexi's big mistake was the Hadlo Pro, while the competitors had huge success with the Vegas, Torch and Fuel, flexifoil brought out a kite that was too niche and very hard to fly. They were too slow adapting to a changing market, almost every year you could guarantee a middle of the road (ion) kite in rasta or ice colour scheme. Pity as they were a company that produced products to a better specification than all the others at the time, they seemed on top of the industry from 2000 to 2008, the flexifoil strike and strike 2 were legendary kites

I remember seeing Flexifoil at Portsmouth International Kite Festival.
Flexifoil would arrive in their coach and setup a wall of TV screens showing this video.
My first ever power kite being a Flexifoil Super 10 which I bought at Bristol International Kite festival.
