Looking to replace my 2014 North Rebel 14 meter, Looking at the 14 meter Naish Pivot, can’t find any reviews on the 14, does anybody have experience with this kite? Hoping it will be a bit more playful than the Rebel but still have good top end?

So I am traditionally a fan of the higher AR big kites, but Pivot was one of that felt grunty and jumpy like a high AR kite, but quick like a lower aspect kite. I loved the 14, super easy to learn new tricks on and great high end like the high AR kites. I am not going to venture to guess the range, but great for sure.
Super easy and predictable looping and fun kite. Waaay faster than high AR kites too.

er

I'm thinking the same, but can't decided between 14m pivot and 14m Boxer.....leaning towards Boxer because it sounds lighter and more nimble which is what I like in light air....

I had a 2014 Rebel 14m also and thought it was a pig....

I am riding 8/11 Pivot and recently added a 14m Boxer (2019). I wanted to have a lighter kite that I can also use in very light winds with the foil. So far I only have ridden it three times with a large TT.
Very happy with it. Great low end, stable in the air in low winds and relatively nimble for that size. I do not have a comparison to the 14m Pivot or other larger kites.
It jumps fine with decent hangtime. Being a one strut kite, the bar feeling apparently is somewhat soft, my Pivots are more crisp. I guess that would be the same for the 14m.
It also has a pretty good top end which astonished me, but which is something you read about quite often.

Same here, I just bought a foil and I am looking for a kite that will work in low winds on TT, surfboard and foil. My gut feeling is the 14m Pivot is good but like most 14m kites it's a slower, heavier version of a 12m.

Yeah Boxer for sure is a better choice for foil.

14m Pivot is my most used kite around here. It's excellent for a 14m. I love taking it out in lighter air (15-18kts.) for learning new tricks and kiteloops on it. It's very forgiving, has decent lift/boost and has a great range from 12kts up into mid 20s range for my 83kg on a normal twin. Bar pressure is medium I would say.

I just bought a larger twin tip to try to get down a few more kts. with longer lines on my 14m.

Taut or others, would adding a Boxer 16m give me much more low end range than my 14m Pivot? I know the Pivot 14 is more on par with other brand's 15m sizing. Is the Boxer sized similarly to the Pivot? I read somewhere that the Boxer is the same shape as Pivot with just a center luff strut and minus two struts....? Thanks.
(sorry for the hijack)

Ended up getting a good deal on a 2017 Pivot, can’t wait to try it😃. Just to make sure, the Naish bar is a low V split? I will use my click bar.
