Very few bars these days have different length lines on them. And most decent ones can be easily converted from high to low V. Why manufacturers don’t choose to stick to a standard connection method from front and back lines I do not know (other than to discourage the above...)

It doesn't matter if some bars or kites got a bit different length rear versus frontlines.

You adjust your rear lines/pigtails at the kite, and any bar will fit any kite :thumb:

It is not rocket science....

Of course, if you are a beginner you should have someone trim your kite, and check things - but your don't write if you are or not?

Tx guys. My question is that I have a 2018 Naish Bar. And might buy a Slingshot SST from 2016 and my doubt more specifically is can I use Naish bar on that slingshot kite?

And yes I am a beginner. Windsurfer since a long time but left because of logistics...
And I am trying to have more than one kite, to cover a bigger wind range, but do not want to spend a huge amount of money....

You can. Naish kites have pigtails reverted compared to Slingshot so swap the pigtails and you'll be fine.

Who does?
Other less capital intensive sports are available.

I gather running has a relatively low entry cost, as does swimming if you a near some kind of water!

When making a loop extension in dyneema I used to set it and put a a few stitches in it. Nowadays I would just set it with a screw driver and taped pliers. Dyneema is relatively slippery stuff. If you have the time it is well worth learning to splice, easy and tooling is cheap
