Has anyone tried Rollerbone for kitetraining. Here i am thinking specific training for foiling. It gives alot of good balance in the body. I have used it for training my knees and hip after a big crash, and it has been the best solution for training. I have tried so many physisist with no luck. This have helped alot and is fun also. But let me hear if anybody else have tried or have som good tips for training.
Yes it is a really great inversement. My wife offered me one in jully and i use it very often. Fun, and excellent for overall balance. And for foiling.
IMO it is even better than indoboard since it is more easy, closer to HF reaction, and above all two dimensions balance (vs one dimension for indoboard).
Even the cusion alone is enough if you want to save money, space and noise of impacts on the ground. I use 70% cushion alone, 20 % cushion & board , 10 % cylinder and board.
I have improved my reflexes and my overall "sticking to the ground" like " putting my shoes on one foot only in the morning " ..
If indoboard also has a cushion, then it should be the same. I thought indoboard was with a cylinder only.
You can find almost similar balance exercise, even cheaper in big sports shops like Decathlon in france or "Nature et Decouverte" : a simple round wood plate glued to a semi-sphere made of woods. It works well, 20 euros as far as i remember.

that looks good fun.
And it would have been used a lot by me back in 2004, if I had one that is.
that was when I was lofted into a sea wall and thrown through the railings,
result a compound fracture of tib and fib and the broken bones sliced through the soft stuff and came out to catch the sunshine.
After the operation and stay in hospital, physio started, and I wish that rollerbone was available back then, it took me 18 months before I could walk over a rocky beach, and for 6 months any small wave or big chop had me falling off my Ttip,
It took near 2 years to get 80% mobility back, but 10 years to be able to go toeside again, good timing, as I started hydrofoiling 2 years ago and toeside is compulsory.
But back to the roller bone, that would most definitely have helped recover the movement that was lost due to the injury. and it would have been fun at the same time.
