Given its new I’d love to use it with the slingshot, and it seems that both bars have four equal line lengths and I can swap the pigtails around to make it work. Both bars also release onto a single flag line.

I’m a beginner so am being ultra cautious about getting my kit right, but just wanted to triple check that (based on these great tables above!) I’d be fine to use my RRD Bar on the Rally? Seems sensible to use the new bar whenever I can!

27m lines are somewhat “lightwind length”. The 22-24m lines are considered regular freeride lines and that what you should be riding normally. Switching between line length will be messing up with your timing for jumps and tricks, yet long lines have some advantages (flying above turbulence line, lightwind, etc)

I’m pretty certain that it’s just because of the bar having line leaders on the rear lines, and that the net effect of this (and indeed all four-line bars; including my RRD Global 8.2) is to have four equal length lines by the time they get to the pigtail attachments. That’s certainly what I seem to be finding when laying it all out.

If you connect line ends to a static point and tension the lines, the chickenloop will push against the bar (when trimmer fully “powered”), or would leave 1-1.5” gap at most. Should be same for both bars.
The Slingshot has messed up construction where rear leader lines and combined depower line assembly are different lengths and so they use proprietary lines of different lengths (rear-center compared). Yet when assembled it all makes same bar as others.

So all four line bars should have it so that when the lines are under tension and the depower is “off” the chicken loop is either at or within a couple of inches of the underside of the bar?

Hi ALEXEYGA - First Thanks for your chart. It's very useful, as was your previous one a couple of years ago.

I want to know if my Core Sensor2 bar will work OK with North Neo 2018 & 2019 kites.

(got a bit confused with North/Duotone)
