One thing that makes the Wing work well when the wind picks up is the significant, constant-curve rocker. When really powered your weight ‘rocks’ back to the corner where it planes from. This really keeps the nose up, enhancing performance in chop and over whitewater.

This might dispell any rumors that the Wing is not a good freestyle board.....it is! It handles freestyle so nicely. Check out this video of Mexican champion, Anthar Racca.

It's a lot different than the Spleene Door, Slingy Glide, or CF LW....you have to try it to believe me, though, I guess. Video should help though. :thumb:
Amazing skill and wow what a beautiful location!

Why would you use it in high wind and chop if it's not designed for it?

Would you wear a thick raincoat on a dry summer day!

What happens with this board in higher wind?
How does a lightwind board act in higher wind and chop?
It's nice to have boards and kites with "range".
Not always practical to switch out if conditions ramp up a bit.
