Hi guys. I need your opinion please. I might be a buyer of a Slingshot RPM 2014. But from I have heard 2014 kites are much more difficult to kite, relaunch etc. Do you agree? Is there any big differences between 2016/17 kites or 2018/19?
What would the low wind range for a 95kg/205lbs, beginner/ intermediate level for this Slingshot RPM 2014 kite in order to manage to relaunch it in the water?
Finally does it make sense having a Naish Pivot 12m to have a 14m Slingshot 2014 RPM?
Thank you for all the help

There's minor difference in bridles as 2014 will feature pulleys and 2018/2019 have bungees instead. Another difference would be large inflation valve on 2018/2019 compared to 9mm valve of 2014 (so consider a tad longer inflation time).
Both would fly very similarly as Rally/RPM have been steadily amazing last 5 years and had only minor changes done.
for your weight a 12m should be a regular size kite and 14m would deliver more fun riding 10-16 knots winds.

Can't comment (remember) what a 2014 was like but the 2018's are on closeout and in Slingshot's Memorial day sale pretty cheap. The 2019 RPM's are a complete redesign
