Manual rewind, ok by me. don't see a stopper solution.. I will see if I miss that on my ordered bar.
Toby is the universal microhook ready?
I didn’t hear any updates yet

I’m looking for the weight on the bar. If it’s heavier than the infinity, I’m going carbon.

which one?

i needed a new bar and was waiting on FS new bar...

..does anyone know much depower travel are on ozone foil contact bars?
Want to know if this new bar is heavier or lighter than the previous. No auto unwinding is no bueno either. I do like that they reduced the mini 5th line. That’s so much better. But it looks like I’m building my own. Hopefully I can get spares to build a safety 5th line like that.

Have a look at the stopper on the epic bar - you could use or make something to fit... flysurfer should make it as an option - especially for tricks or long distance kiting, makes a world of difference in energy saving over 1-6 hours..

Airush do one too - just check the PU size and bar hole size on both first though..

We got ‘M
Definitely worth the wait.
Nice bar, good feel, soft bar-ends, perfect trimmed out off the bag (bag imho is an overkill and waste of material & money)
Mini 5th, line a bit to long for me (easily shortened) but trimmed for unhooked.
Nice covered depower line
No stopper.
1kg, light enough for me.
Happy with it!

Nice "new" bar... :thumb: Curtesy of what's left from BEST... :D

B.t.w. Airush's stopper doesn't do anything. Got 2 of their bars and on both the "stopper" is a decoration piece.

So,

The new FS bar is using a generic clam cleat which can be purchased on the Internet?

And the release is still using a pin going through the line?

Plus the swivel which is exact copy of Best one and it gets eaten by the depower line in one season with heavy riding?

Definitely worth the wait. Pure Best copy, sorry, just rebadged to FS.

and please explain what's wrong with coping/inspiring good ideas?
It's a flipping bar not mars launch rocket, much rather if is bombproof well tested solution rather then another product tested on customers

Why u asking me?

Ask anyone who also agrees that this is a blunt copy of Best bar.

Normally, I would expect a high standards and the development from FS, and not copying something Best did in 2014!

Which I could buy from Best for $80-90 when discounted. Plus shipping.

Here, FS v2? With the same cleat and swivel + stopper, race lines = 760 grams
Hate this depower line, will replace...

Well, I wouldn't necessarily call it a "copy" as FS is simply using the same supplier who was making last gen BEST and NORTH bars. Whatever goes in the background - stays in the background - perhaps they just flat out bought the rights from BEST? It's a nice design after all and FS have vastly improved it by using PU-covered main cords and a really nice, adjustable bar itself. I wouldn't have issues using one of these.

On the other hand, I'd have to agree that one would expect something more original from a big name like FS...
