What are you still doing here???
Shouldn't you be practicing closing strut valves while it's windy??? Like 20 whole kts!!! (gasp) How else are you going to keep your bridles untangled bro?! It's such a challenge after all!
(being an inept dolt and all.)

Too bad they dropped the Octopus ! Love this system ... I got the Pivot 8/9/10/12 2019 and so fan of it. I had North the previous year and always forgot to clip the pipe before the session, don't need to think about it with the Octopus. Also never got any problem with it...

I had onepump with hoses since 2007 and I have not once "clipped the pipe". Never had any problems.
But I agree with you. I have both Naish Octopus and kites with "normal" onepump and I clearly prefer the Octopus. I like the dump valves when packing the kite after a session most of all. I have a Cabrinha Vector and it´s always a hassle when those hoses fold and the struts don´t deflate.

yes but be careful until you blow your leading edge far from the shore and get the whole kite to deflate.
