Too bad they dropped the Octopus ! Love this system ... I got the Pivot 8/9/10/12 2019 and so fan of it. I had North the previous year and always forgot to clip the pipe before the session, don't need to think about it with the Octopus. Also never got any problem with it...
I had onepump with hoses since 2007 and I have not once "clipped the pipe". Never had any problems.

But I agree with you. I have both Naish Octopus and kites with "normal" onepump and I clearly prefer the Octopus. I like the dump valves when packing the kite after a session most of all. I have a Cabrinha Vector and it´s always a hassle when those hoses fold and the struts don´t deflate.
yes but be careful until you blow your leading edge far from the shore and get the whole kite to deflate.

Can't believe they ditched the octopus... I'll have to buy the Dash before the next version then...

Oh that looks super sweet. Getting pumped here. haha.
It that a pic of the inflation system? Does it work well? Is it compatible with normal pumps?

Oh, I get the reasoning, and I for sure liked the octopus. I think I wrote this before. The inflation system would never decide my kite, but it was definitely a secondary decisionmaker. I hope the new system lives up to what they state in the video.

Also, the Switch TT with two different lengths on the different sides looks super sweet. Most boards in kiteboarding should really be asymmetrical.

Seeeeeeeetttttt!!!! Finally, Naish kites that are worth buying and owning.

For all octopus-pimpers, I'd pay to see you troubleshooting a leaky kite. Especially in field.

Where on any "conventional" one-pump system one only has to clamp the hoses, see what deflates and only fix the deflated part - on an octopus-equipped wing things are... well, were - slightly more "through one's arse" - pardon the expression...
