Matt seems to think the tips have changed...

He is probably the only one who thinks that...

If the kite changed, Damien Girardin would have said so. He hasn't.

As confirmed by Dirk.

Matt has no credibility, in the 2019 RPM review he made, he said the same thing, wing tips bigger and the kites all one size bigger. Fake camera perspective (which is worse than this Naish review), and 100% disproven.

Get a cheap itiwit sup pump from decathlon sports. £20 and way better than all the brands kite pumps.
Umm, that's just the WMFG pump with a smaller chamber diameter, old hose, and no additional hose tips...

 Matt needs an excuse to sell his kites, so change is good, saying lots of change is better for sales I guess.
Makes it difficult to take their reviews serious though.

Just for you guys (now I have some sand in my living room...).
2019 8 m Pivot on top of 2020 8m Pivot. No difference. Measured the length of the outer strut from seam on LE to TE. Both 133cm.

From the Naish Website: "This year we have fine tuned the tension in the whole canopy by adding a seam that spreads the back line tension further towards the center of the kite for an even more powerful and balanced kite"

You can see it on the image. Red tip 2020, Teal tip 2019 which does not have the seam. The seam runs from the end of the tip across the canopy to the middle strut.

Let´s see if that difference can be felt. Hopefully a bit more wind towards the end of next week. My new 11m is on back order.

Had a session on the 2020 Pivot 10m this arvo. It felt just my 2019 Pivot 8m but slower and gruntier. Kites ranging from 8m to 17m were out.

I got 2020 10 pivot out yesterday. Super stoked about this kite. Was pretty lit, and wind was a bit up and down. I was jumping and riding waves.

What size were you on? How does it compare to last year's and 2018 version?
