stringless kite thing
I think you took it away from me. "wingythingy" just does not sound as good as "stringless kite". So I am going to try to stay in the game of inventing terms and rip you off a little bit - if that is ok with you?

How about "stringless kite thingywingy"

I think my words were just me butchering your words..

Frankly I’m all for innovation..And i generally don’t opine if I’m negative on something.

But...
And I hope I’m wrong ...but this whole thing seems like nothing but a LAZY money grab.
(A kite industry version of a pump and dump)

Jmho.

We are definetly on the same page on this. Still, I like to read into things and I stand by what I said before that 'this redesign of the KiteWing shows the wall that kiteboarding kite design is up against'.

Still, some will be stoked by this "stringless kite thingywingy". It is just that I do not believe that it will get any kiters to convert over to it and move away form kiting. And if you analyze the market future of this product, it looks bleak if it cannot get windsport converts.

86kg rider starting a 60l board
This sink start looks pretty legit, I'm guessing it's sub 40L board but hard to tell from distance:

Yeah.
A lot of guys in Hawaii and Australia sink starting behind skis and boats.
Ive been trying myself and ill get it down behind the jetski and then the wing should be easier.
Guys also sink start when towed by a small dinghy with zero power—- they say its the only way when being “under pulled”
No doubt tricky.
But so was our first at “anything” difficult

Almost all pre sales sold out?
Naish in Oz sold out?
Spg twin struts were also sold out.
But now taking orders again.
May be a bummer summer for those “waiting” for a wing and not buying one now to get here by July.

There's some really ill-informed opinions going on here by people who have already decided this just won't work or won't be enjoyable. If you are actually interested in how this might unfold check out the wing.surf page on Facebook for latest updates and videos. A lot of folks already enjoying themselves, riding swell, foiling one handed etc. A complement to kiting, not going to replace it.
