I think there is not a lot to grip when loosening I find it really hard to open when tight. If there was a bit more of a recess or larger wing on the clasp it would be easier.
Just replaced the rope after continuos use since May. Foiling and surfboard using duotone rope slider cloop.
Note the small loop was a bit tight but is easy to loosen as there is plenty of extra inside.

Nope, just normal use.
I should add the photo was manipulated to raise the shadows since everything is black.
Still you should expect some wear on this composite bar. The metal clasp is losing paint where it attaches, I’m not noticing any abnormal wear on the straps which was a worry,
The rope coating seems to wash off after some time. I’ve never used the small loop and the coating is gone.
It is still the best rope setup I’ve used. I think like all rope sliders, you have to be vigilant on maintenance.

$89-$99 in USA, but not at all retailers. Demand > Supply ---> economics 101
Of course, but this means I'm now looking at an ion harness that comes with a 2 in-1 bar instead.
Just wondering if it was UK uncertainty, but sounds like its North Action Sports European region.

We were told by Mystic back in May that there would be a price increase later in the year, apparently when the spreader bars were originally costed out it didn't include the wings on them, so they kept them at the lower price point for this past season......but eventually this had to increase.
2019/20 is now filtering through to stores and now see's the new price.

Got mine (surf/foil version) last Wednesday and rode with it at KOGL. Got the largest one - 320mm and using it on my Medium size Mystic warrior harness.
What an amazing piece it is and I love it. I love how lever action helps to tighten it up through squishiness of belly/wetsuit/impactvest, I admire the inserts/ears which prevent it from riding up. I like how I can use same spreader bar for foiling and for TT jumping.
Can recommend 10/10!

The sliding rope can be added to the fixed hook spreader bar but the hook cannot be removed as it is part of the spreader bar, so if you think you may want both options buy the fixed hook.
I used to use both a hook and sliding rope on my Dynabar and it worked fine, just make sure the rope is above the fixed hook so it doesn't get caught up.
Has anyone really tried to add the "Stealth Bar Dyneema Slider Rope Replacement" to the fixed hook version?
Looks like they thought people would do that, since they give the "stopper" with the rope, but is it all we need to add it (and a ring if the chicken loop is a usual one)?
Thanks.

Nice, thank you! I'll check the diameter of my CL and then will get one of those Winchard FRX 20...
Looks like it would cause a lot less wear on the rope and the CL . Just worried that the CL could slide off the ring.
