Ion has something unique in the sliding s-bar market that I can't find any info about. I know it's new for 2019, but I'm curious if anyone has compared it to a rope slider.
It seems like it would have some big advantages for leveraging (added pop for strapless freestyle or freeriding) vs. a rope but still allowing the freedom of a sliding harness for waves.

I'm interested as well, I just got the 2018 Ion CS hard shell composite with the single rope slider which locks down nicely and has worked well so far. The only thing that concerns me regarding the C-bar is it's range it's not as long around as the rope, so it may torque a bit more.
