Hi, i have been testing today my new Naish Dash 9m (1st edition) + ATB bar 2018/2019.
First i was using new bar with my old Naish Park 2014 and it works brilliant!
Later, wind picked up and finally i pumped my new Naish Dash 9m and that was such a disappointment
There is no bar pressure at all! Once i pull the bar all the way down there is just a little bit presure and thats it. Hard to steer kite like that. I tried to trim steering lines by changing the knot to the last one (factory setting is one before last and let me remind that old park was flying good with that setting).
That didnt change much. Still barely any pressure on the bar
Any ideas what to do? This is brand new kite

Back lines still too long. I had this on my 2nd Gen. Dash. Although my bar was properly trimmed, all lines the same length. Maybe Naish made a mistake measuring the back pigtail length. I added approx. 7cm pigtails to the front lines and the kite flies perfectly.

You could also tie in another knot on the back lines and try it out. I preferred to use the additional pigtails which stay on the bridle so I can use the bar for other Kites without having to change the knots every time.

Happend to me only with that Dash (also 9m). My Pivots, Slashs and Boxer flew out of the box with the same bar in perfect manner.

How the kite reacts to bar movement?
If it's the back lines, you should have noticed some slack. Did you check your lines?

Hi Ludmil, yes - lines checked right after buying bar. They are even/equal. Plus please note it works great with my Park 2014.
Must be the same issue as Dirk is saying.

All kites are not made för equal front back lines.
I solved it with knots closer to the kite on my back pigtails.
My kite is another brand though.

I am having Dashes but V2 and one unopened V3
.
Amazing kites.
However, I am trying to figure out what is your issue.
If the kite doesn't react
property to bar inputs it means that there's something wrong, if the kite is lite on the bar but behaving well is another story...

On the Dash it should look like the backlines are pinching the kite a bit. Different from the pivot and slash, and much more like the torch.
I think Dirk is correct that the lines are adjusted wrong.
