Kevin Langeree Pro model kiteboard

Postby POACHER » Wed Jun 05, 2019 3:45 pm

Just watched the latest Kevlog from Tarifa and noticed his name on a new 2020 board. I'm not usually one for pro model gear as I don't care who's name is on something (let alone the usual uptick in price)........but I think this is a good idea for Naish. Winning a few KOAs should earn you a pro model of some sort..... :thumb:

Given Robbys dislike for granting pro model status that’s a decent move for Kevin

The number of riders that have left Naish ( wind/kite/sup) over it is astonishing and all gone on to win world championships and build market share for the new brand.

No one is bigger than Rob. Given it’s his name, his money etc he might have a point. But it has made some of the biggest names that much easier to lure away.

Is this a completely new board or the Monarch with an alternative graphic design?

I know loads of people still riding 130s - especially in high winds - a return to better sized boards for higher winds?

Does the monarch shock the knees on landings? Looking for a new board and the monarch looks awesome but am getting older now and value my knees. What are they like in landings compared with something like the jamie or other top brands?

I had Jaime 2017, now I have Naish Monarch 2019 and this is the best board in all respects I have swam .
