Both GKA Kite World Tour disciplines firing-off in June
The GKA Freestyle World Cup Gran Canaria goes down next week in Vargas from 12-16th June and then it's on to the GKA Kite-Surf World Cup Sylt, Germany, from the 25-30th.
Although the GKA hasn't yet visited Sylt, the spot has played host to countless windsurf and kiting World Tour stops over the years and the island is one of the most popular kite spots in Germany.
The event will be a mixed discipline competition, with potential for both wave riding and strapless freestyle depending on the conditions. So far, Mitu Monteiro and Moona Whyte lead the overall rankings. Can they hold onto their leads at the end of round two?
