Hi! Has anyone flew the Core XR5 15 m lw?
I demoed it back to back against an XR5 17 LW ... Core bar 24 m lines... steady ocean wind remained the same
15 felt heavy ....the power plus handling was unimpressive in 10-12 kn
But the 17 felt light... powerful...fast turning fun .....downlooped smoothly
A winner
Much better balanced design

I have ended up getting a Harlem light 14m. I am extremelly happy with! For my weight (66kg+-) i can start riding around 11-12kts ( cruising around, small jumps) on a small twintip, without the kite stall at all. I’ve managed to keep using it up to 17kts without lack of control. Very good quality kite, stable, easy downloops and the price was unbeatable.

15 is kinda a kite for a heavy 100 kg+ guy
definitely not a lighwind kite, 17 - for sure

I have Core XR5 LW 15 m and I can tell you this is the best kite so far for me. Yesterday had no problems having fun, going up wind in 10 knots, my weight is 78 kg. To me it turns same as my EVO 12m but has so much more power. But for foiling you have to go way lower, 8 or 9 m
