If I read it right it said good at loft, hangtime & upwind. So, they took the ‘drift’ out of the Rally and increased the other aspects? Or ?
It is very easy to locate a Slingshot kite in modern history with highly correlating characteristics to those shown on French Slingshot webpage

The design reminds me on my first SS Rev2
What a nice Kite it was!
But yeah, I am curious about their 2020 lineup. Next try of implementing a second freeride kite after their Turbine intermezzo in 2018

Rally did the nasty with a REV ( look it up kids)
I was going to say the 2010 Octane and Rally "hooked up", but the more I look at this Raptor kite and compare it to old photos of the Link I see nearly the same shape especially in the wingtip profile. I'd say it's simply a Link "reinvented" for 2020.

It looks like there’s not enough time to prep things offline and publish on the release dates so guys are just leaking it all out

I know there is so much more to it, and they may feel completely different, but the new raptor looks pretty similar in shape to the Elevate line of kites.
Nothing against windfoiling. I kinda like to see windsurfing guys back on the water, but every time a kite company moves to cash in on the windfoil market, their kite and witefoil development slows. i.e. Horue and Zeeko are examples. I'm sure this new wingsurfing development will take manpower and resource away from kite development too.
Line drawing filter is pretty unflattering!

Nice Micro
It's the new one, same as the old one but they moved the mast tracks farther back, and changed the graphics. Here's Fred Hope playing around on his lat night:
