Again, just change pigtails on the side of the kite bridels. Make sure they have same length.

Sergie, it is not difficult and you certainly do not have to know about all the stuff I mentioned that was just to indulge my recuperation time and give you food for thought.
As long as you keep the lengths correct and are using descent dyneema it is just common sense. Although I would try to avoid unnecessary knots to reduce bridle tangle risk an extra knot is not the end of the world.

If you do want to get into splicing the Marlow's website used to be a kind of information but time spent riding is much more fun.

IIRC Slingshot kites already have equal length pigtails on them? If so just swap them around.

What’s the problem with two larks heads in a row using a pigtail?
Thanks knotwindy. Don't know that's why I am asking.
Just thought it would be a bit weird to have 2 knots which both can be undone by simple pull. I guess one minor problem is if
I disconnect the correcting pigtail from the front bridle by mistake. I will end up with a bar with front lines too long as they will have an extra pigtail. I guess this might get the other kites (this bar is used with) to fly erratically, overpowered and backstall. Obviously it is easy to spot 2 pigtails in series on your front bar lines so common sense should stop me from doing so. 😂

Mine does not have pigtails on front lines, just knots. A bit like back lines on other kites. May be old style 2011

Or tie some dental floss around the one you don’t want to undo?

Sergie just re- read post to see why we are still talking about this. My reference to splicing was because I assumed that you wanted to make a new pigtail as the front and rear kite pigtails were different lengths otherwise you would have just swopped them over. Are the kite pigtails all the same length or is it a short front and long rear?

Then put equal length pigtails on all 4 kite bridle lines to match the bar.

To avoid confusions that'll be the day. The kite has pigtails the flying lines have wear extensions. From my understanding services lines do not have wear extensions.
If front and rear pigtails are even length just swop.
If uneven and you can not splice or buy opposite style pigs of same length you can add even length knotted loops to the front and rear pigs to go from loop to knot. In doing this you will have 2 knots together on the centre line pigs. I would tape these so that they are not undone by mistake and to fare them to reduce tangle risk.

YOU CAN NOT USE ANY OLD ROPE OR CHORD USE 3MM 12 STRAND DYNEEMA OR BETTER!

You may wish to make the rear loop pigtail extension with 3 knots to allow for trim adjustment.
