A lot of talking about the tearing properties of the material and little demonstration in flight....a little annoying to tell the truth, it would be more interesting to see the kite flying in very little wind and seeing how it reacts.
I only hope that the other brands will develop similar matials and that fly their kites in the real world. Airush or Ozone for example.

I understand that Ozone have already ordered/bought some of this material.

They don't have to - it's my understanding that Ocean Rodeo do not have exclusivity and that the other brands are very interested in Aluula.
It may take them and the factories that produce their kites a while to catch up with Ocean Rodeo, so you may have to wait a while for Ozone or Airush Aluula kites.

I’m sure there will be plenty of videos of the kites flying in the real world coming soon.
seriously though the references to the Hellfish are too real -
If I recall correctly one of the unforeseeable issues with that material (cuben fiber) was that it was too rigid, and that meant it would slice through stitching when under tension and led to the leading edge exploding. Did you guys not have an issue with stitching?
