. The Rise is OTW, Ive seen it.
When did OR last produce the Rise? I never flew one, but I would love to give it a try.

Thank you! Any ETA on the Aluula Rise? I would guess spring of 2021 with actual delivery in August if Covid continues... 😅

Your guess is as good as mine.
Looks quite high aspect.
Should be great for high speed foiling.
And boosting to the moon.

OR, please build a One-Strut 12 meter Kite under 2kg for foiling. A copy of a Naish Boxer or Core Xlite in Aluula would be very nice - and for a moderate price! Thank you

One Strut kite built with ALUULA should be an obvious direction for Ocean Rodeo. That would be an amazing kite. Stiff Frame and kite that weights nothing ! Just take my money ocean rodeo!

mmm... with the 3 strut already so light, the struts being so thin, most of the weight savings are in the larger parts like the leading edge, going to a one strut might only save less than 3/4 of a pound, maybe not even 1/2 pound(?). Why not just ride the 3 strut and have the better relaunch?

It's proportional weight savings that are most important.

Guess we have the first bust on our hands.
playkite wrote:Today we have busted our first Aluula. Waiting for Canada to wake up and figure out how to fix it. During the launch it fell and scraped the sharp stone. It didn't explode and deflate immediately, but busted after 15 minutes on the water. Half of the section of leading edge bladder got ripped out. There's video on my facebook.

^ Every kite will explode if it's misused, but maybe aluula isn't so strong when it comes to scratch resistance
