To give you an idea, this is how the seams should look like (roughly):

What I am going to try is using two different SP-models and merge/sew them together; One for modeling the LE and one for modeling the canopy.
I can use the setup of a C-kite to model the LE in a vertical plane:

This will give me the correct seam position and tube size. The hard part will be matching the canopy from one model to the LE from another model...

Puuh... You could also publish a front, top, side view of your surfplan model and the measures and I'll create you a dxf plan

Wow PanTau - presumably this is your latest version of WingCalc? - it looks stunning. A wonderful level of detail modelled in such as PVC? windows and reinforcement patches - cant wait to see some of the updated versions of your kites
Wingstu - can your give a bit more detail about what and how you intend to mount your telescopic boom?
I wonder if a group build would be an interesting way to share lessons learnt and to learn from each other?

I was planning on 3d print some sort of adapter-plate and sew it to the leading edge, and have a corresponding part attached to the broom. I will have to figure this out before I sew the LE shut
Duotone is doing something like this:

I am already committed to building this thing and have bought dacron for the LE and ripstop for the canopy
