Postby waketo » Mon Aug 05, 2019 2:33 am

Hi, I have a Fone Linx Bar 2018, any trick to remove the bar end insert to change it from 45 to 52 cm
It's impossible, can't remove the insert.
Thanks

Pull harder, put a screwdriver through the fabric loop to get more leverage. Make sure there isn't any sand when reinstalling insert.

Yeah it can be hard when not used it for a while. As above I would also try to stick in a screwdriver to pull it out. And also rinse it with fresh water when its open to make it easier next time.

Do you feel any difference between 45 and 52? Im not sure, but haven't compared much.

If you use a scredriver or some kind of rod put the screwdriver/rod on something that will hold where the line can go through. Use a plastic hammer or rubber hammer and hit the bar.

Once disassembled sanfd away the sharp edges in the cutout for the end inserts and it will be easier to remove them the next time.

thanks to all, finally I was able to remove the inserts.
Never tried my 12m with 45cm bar, I have it stock in 52.
Thanks to all
