Our Specialized Series division is on fire!

We’ve been busy! A few weeks ago our Specialized Series division introduced its first dedicated SLE foil kite and the response has been fantastic. And now, it’s time to unleash our latest wave phenom, the Section 3!

The Section 3 continues where the legendary Section 2 left off and adds new features. As expected, we haven’t changed your favorite kite’s signature character. But we’ve expanded its range and adjustability to give you more control over your setup. Try the new Section 3, and see if you improve your odds of catching and smashing the cleanest waves with our new onshore, offshore and allround wind settings.

Find out more about our brand new Section 3 here: https://corekites.com/us/kites/section-3

What is CIT Modes?

Our new CIT Modes calibrate the Section 3 according to the wind direction. Three, anti-snag bridle attachment points make kite adjustments for onshore wind, allround conditions, and offshore wind. The onshore setting sits the kite deeper in the wind window, giving it more grunt and better drift. The offshore setting sits the kite more forward in the wind window, giving it higher depower and faster forward speed. So, riding the pocket like Willow is as easy as moving a loop...and investing a few thousand hours of on-the-water time. Willow, you make it look too easy!

One size does not fit all.

One thing, Frank Ilfrich, our fantastic kite designer is good at (and yes, he’s good at a lot of things!) is tuning each kite size. He’ll make small changes to every size to compensate for the change in the area. Yes, it’s time-consuming but it’s worth it. You’ll know that all 10 kite sizes have been custom-tuned to perfection.

Yes! Big kite surfing is a thing!

Some spots have the cleanest waves and very little wind. Like Rob Kidnie’s spot in Bali, Indonesia. His go-to kite is the 13.5m Section 3 because he needs the extra power to get out to the break in Canggu. For all you wave warriors who share similar conditions as Rob, we make the Section 3 LW. Now, go out there, and have fun surfing your big kite. ‘Cuz it’ll feel much smaller then you’d imagine.

Surf with confidence.
Remember the day when the surf was the biggest you've ever seen? The break just kept growing. And the wind was perfect. Just imagine riding the pocket like Willow with your crispy Section 3. And surf with confidence.
