Hi
I have 5/7/9 Enduros v2 and a 12 V1. Love my 5/7/9 Enduros V2 but I need to replace my 12m. 12m Enduro is a little boring and I‘m thinking about replacing it with a 10m Edge instead of an Enduro 12V2 to get better upwind, better windrange and more hangtime in lower winds.
What differences can I expect between 12m Enduro and 10m Edge? Will the lowend be the same but highend much better on the Edge?
I‘m only 62kg. Is a 10m Edge fine for that weight as my biggest kite?

Why? Don’t you think a 10 has plenty of power and will get me going in 11/12?

What would be the highend on a 11m Edge V9 given my 62kg on a normal sized Twintip? Will definitely not go for a 13.

I have an old 10 edge and a V1 8m enduro. I used to have an 11m and 13m edges. These were old edges 2012-2013. But I guess the wind range is still similar.
13 was sweet 16-23 on as standard TT, door took it down to 12knots. Floaty stuff happened 16+ knots.
11 and 10 edge 18-25.
13 would definately out boost and float the 10-11 edge sub 20. But over 20 knots the smaller faster edges boosted bigger.
PS I'm 75 kg. To be fair when I had the 13m edge I was 84kg.

I fly enduros and edges regularly and a 10m edge will be the perfect choice for you. I would say it does better than a 12m enduro in lightwind performance for a good pilot and with you being lighter weight it is the biggest kite you will need for sure. I weigh 78kg and never go bigger than my 11m edge.
The enduro 12m had more low end tractor feel (park and ride). Whereas the edge has has forward sitting acceleration once you get some speed and apparent wind going. I am very loyal to edges for lightwind and prefer them over any other model because there ability to fly forward to fast. Plus you can get away with a smaller size like you are thinking without sacrificing upwind performance!
New V10 Edge will Release next month....I would pick up a v9 on sale if on a budget or splurge and go for the latest and soon to be greatest V10

Mate, I think every opinon should be respect, but I replaced en edge 13 m for an enduro 14m and I'm very happy with the change.
You know the elevator feeling of the Edge is so satisfying, but the catapult feeling of the enduro is juts better for me.
That said, I'm a windusrfer, kitesurfer, and paddlesurfer with foils and foilesss so I try to mantain the feeling trough my quiver. Just A question of survivability with my stuff hoarding problema
