Try apartments in La Gaulette...worked for me, great value and difference in price allowed me to hire car for the 5 minute journey to and from Le MOrne......and go elsewhere if it was busy there....

already have 12 night in Le morne and will need to stay over first night somewhere, worst come to worst we will stay at airport hotel but wanted to avoid it as we land 11:30am so we would lose one day of kiteboarding!

Check if "Ma Vie La" has availability for your first night, the owner are extremely nice. It's in Le Morne and not too far from the spot but still need a car to get there. Basically, without car you can't do much over there.
