Good list! Another board that you may want to add to you list is Eleveight's Escape Pro CFT or Escape CVC. I've demo'ed every board on your list, except for the North, and hands down the Escape rivals all of these boards imo. They make both versions in a 5'1. I'm not sure of the weights though since they're not listed. I'm curious. The CFT version was noticeably lighter.

I've been on a Firewire/Tomo Vanguard and have tried every other kite model they've introduced. I was considering the Evo, but now the Escape Pro has may attention. The only other board that looks appealing is FCD's Blunt 5'0. Check it out!

You might be already aware, but just in case, out of all of the boards you listed the Sci-Fly is the only one with strap inserts. It may likely be a bit heavier as a result.

Also there's the Pro Whip 5'1 that you may also try to find the weight on. If you do find some weights (for any of the boards) please post back. Thanks!

The 2020 Duotone pro whip 5’3” just unboxed from the distributor weighs 7lbs 8 oz [3.4kg]. It feels pretty heavy and would like to know if it’s a factory defect. Very disappointed. Feels likes it’s waterlogged and wish I bought the evo helium. Scifly also sounds like a good board at 6lbs.

Yeah, heavy boards suck, in light winds esp. for strapless freestyle at least, less so in better winds.

Regarding Scifly, if I'm not mistaken, Gleiten.tv had a review on it and mentioned that it feels small and better for lighter people.

FireWire Evo He 5’1” Vol=24.5L, Weight=3015 gramms with deckpad and 3 fins medium size. If i remember correctly without fins and deckpad it weighs roughly 2600 g.

Totally agree. I got this board thinking it would be good for strapless freestyle in 17kt to 22kt winds. Sometimes it’s nice to have a little more weight and volume when in the waves. I own other boards for that.
