There you have it. I'm not affiliated with Epic, and I'm not currently using Epic products, but I have to say I'm always impressed with Dimitri's personalized attention to customers and others in the industry. How many other kite manufacturing company owners would personally respond to a question on this forum with that level of detail? I am impressed. :thumb:
None, b/c not everyone is Greek or Mediteranean blooded :)

Fascinating success for the family biz!

Was thinking of trying Switch next... may try a Renegade instead :thumb: After all, I'm semi-local.
Dude, let me save you some time and money...don't buy a switch kite. I sent my Helium 16m(purchased Oct '18) back and it took 2 months to get my money back. And, I just spent 3 days slowly re-gluing all 10 of my valves on my switch 12m Nitro(purchased Dec' 18)(3 valves failed and all valves pull off as easy as I have ever seen) with 3m 5200. Both kites hindenburg if you do slow rotation transitions(tricks) or use a hydrofoil and don't nail your transition. Don't get me started on the complete shit valve system they have for re-placing the valves in the dacron. I'd love to try a 9m Dimitri Epic kite in Naples, FL if he will ever get down here. 8)

Apart from what is already said, I would like to say that some time ago (not much, this summer), I saw Dimitri kiting at Nissakia (Greece). It wasn't windy enough and someone, probably beginner, fell off.
Dimitri went really downwind and grabbed his kite and took it outside. I have never seen someone doing it and I was impressed by his willingness. :)
Most kiters, as you know, are not very helpful, so Dimitri... :thumb:
