That is true. That strap issue should have been fixed right away. Lines
were not updated for way too long as well. The problem is I like their kites most
When were the lines fixed??? 2023? 2024? 2030?
If you think they're fixed now, you need to check the dial on your time machine - cause now ain't when you think it is!
They were, this model year. I do own them (the new ones) and like them but lines
were an issue for few years. And they should have been fixed way before 2021 model year. Same applies to NTT straps (which I also own and have already replaced under warranty ...). But that issue has not been fixed.
Did they really fix their bar lines issue or they want to sell ‘upgraded’ lines in future?

This strap issue kinda represents company attitude toward quality and they are not trying to make best impression. Some company wouldn’t sell a product that is lacking quality/functionality because it damaged company image.
I’m annoyed as well as I’m looking for new kite set for TT and foiling and DT Evos were on top of my list

Guys, look what i just received, never seen these before.
According to my dealer these straps are specially made as a replacement so they should be improved. I have to say I don't feel any difference in material and firmness at all, I'm very curious and time will tell.

The change in colour should make them stronger.

Well indeed my plan was to sell them but i did not receive the same again and because the dealer says that this is really an improved version i will give it 1 more chance, i wanted to buy the 2021 version but if it breaks just like that it makes no sense and i find them really nice sitting and comfortable.

For an improved design they look surprisingly identical. Although in fairness I’ve used them for yonks and never had a problem.

I've also used them for many years without problems, but then I don't do any boosting because one really bad landing could mean a knee replacement (damaged ACL).

Those might be the new 2022 straps. The difference should be in the piece that you slot into the exterior of the strap: It should be longer so more contact surface. I can’t believe that it would fix the problem but if they recognise the problem… maybe.
