You can see that it will fit by first inserting one tab, sliding it along a bit, then inserting the other tab.
Oh, and nice board.
It's not as easy as it sounds due to the straight squares that need to go in vertically which does not work when doing it 1 by 1 but with some wiggling etc it does work like you mention (
Although Duotone support claims otherwise). Let's hope the material itself has change a bit too...the straps are amazing but having to get a replacement every year is no fun!
Btw the board is from my digital fellow Dutch buddy Leon ...but having a shotgun as well only with the red colour but same colour combo on the pads now
Of course Duotone would "claim otherwise" because they want to avoid a recall!
And my 136x40.5 Shotgun is red which clashes nicely with my pads.

Little bit of shaping and stitching can get a bit longer from the Entity...I use tiny drill bit and fishing braid line to stitch that's super strong..

I don’t think anything used will be covered by warranty. For balance though, I have been using Entities for many years on 2 different boards, have had 3 different versions and no problems. There must be an issue of course, but for the vast majority of riders they are great. It may be that the issues are only happening with heavier riders??

Depends on whether you still have the receipt or not. If you have one you can get new ones from your dealer, Duotone does this very nicely because it is a known problem.

They changed the design, I think 2018 is the one still thinner around the area where it tends to break. I have a pair of 2018s and 2 pair of the newer ones (21? yellow ones), think they are really comfy, you can make them big for boots, perfect for me so far. A buddy rides like a berserker and broke 2 pair last year and swears to never use it again. He does big kiteloops, jumps 20m+ and has really rough landings. If that sounds like you, probably don't get those bindings. I don't know if I get them again but I've been barely on the water lately and when I am, then I do some kooky 5-10m jumps and just cruise around spray water. For that the bindings are perfect.

Looks like the 2023 Entity has it sorted finally..using what looks like the older velcro models plastic piece that didn't break.. time will tell but it looks promising to me...

How can you tell from an image the material is the same as the old one as the models didnt cause the breaks it was a different material that was being used. In the latest replacements this was already the case and I havent heard of any failures since. This model looks different though as it has open spacing which was not available in the other models if I recollect correctly.
