3 Water start techniques. Why the most common one is not the best

The first water start is like wakeboarding with a boat without a tower. The rope is attached near the engine pulling you down. It's possible to wake but not that easy. This one is, however, the most used one. The 3rd one is like doing it with the tower as the pull is up helping you to stand. And you also do not destroy the kite.

Thanks very interesting. I think I end up using 3rd method in a sliding turn when powered conditions. I am a beginner though, so may be it is plain wrong?

Yes. The movement is similar to the sliding transition. Just that you are starting instead of already riding. Also you send the kite to 12 and not 11 as you are already going so you don’t need as much power. I’ll make a video about that too.
