Less than 50% of the population fly. Of those who do, less than 15% take more than 3 flights a year.
I guess that puts our kite pros in the top 2% of humans who pollute the atmosphere.
Should we expect a public commitment to reducing their carbon footprint to zero? That they should publically make available an audit of carbon offsetting that we can confirm.
Most of them are banging on about us saving the planet and living a
green lifestyle, should we expect them to do the same?
plants literally BREATH co2...
so wouldnt producing more be good for plants?
less c02= choking all the green stuff.
do yall want to kill the off all the green stuff?
'cause...that is what will happen is there is no c02 (oh, and...we'll die out too since those plants produce our o2)

Yes. Weak argument on China and India. This isn't the industrial revolution.
These are GIANT companies that pollute without repercussion due to their sheer size and governments turning a blind eye.
At least the US and many EU companies are making attempts at reducing carbon output and waste. You can't spend a week in the industrialized sector of China without your eyes burning.
grow grow grow no matter the cost......because I need an iPhone charger for .$99
The picture is a lot bigger than the one the media have shown, all the thing is politicised and we will end discussing politic instead of kitesurf,I would have no problem but I think it's not the right place.

Avreage swede fly 1.1 ton CO2e, per year.
An influencer print is about 15—30 ton CO2e per year
Youtuber Jon Olsson flew about 55 ton CO2e 2018.
Why do international PRO kite boarder post about Greta Thunberg on instagram?

Most "professional" kite boarders are skint, they can't afford it. Once you're at the beach, kiting is non-polluting. Don't stress about stuff that's essential for your life, you can always make it up later. Video-conference if it's just a meeting, it saves so much time & money.

Fuel consumption of jet plane per single passenger for 100km is around 3-4 liters, which is less than even going by car.
