1. They are off-topic on a kiteboarding forum
2. Both sides of the argument are heavily politicized.
3. Can’t we escape this topic somewhere??? It is in my face everywhere I turn. Some of us had to live through the Cold War scare and now the new scare is climate change.
Common Toby, lets get back to debating kite topics.

Really ?
It affects our sport and affect us all! Not talking about it won’t make it any more likely to go away.
Everyone here in Northern Europe is talking about how the weather is off and has been for a few years at least. People here have discussed how the trades have gone a little off whack . Many destinations for kiteing have become less reliable wind wise . Discussion of climate change will inevitably follow. But That’s a good thing isn’t it instead of ignoring potential evidence

So nothing less related to kiteboarding than arguing that something isn't related to kiteboarding.
Climate change is highly relevant to a wind driven sport.
Only one side politicize it.

It feels like there are more strong wind days than in the past so the „change“ is good for kitesurfing I guess...
Warmer temperatures as well...

The problem with climate change discussions is the key issue of how much is man made
vs how much is not man made and is instead a result of natural forces.
Those who wish to politicise climate change have conflated the former with the latter.

Absolutely delete
A load of UN rubbish and shows the ignorance of humans that think they can stop a natural occurrence like turning off a light switch
Not a place here to discuss

Any reasons why Toby shouldn't delete this thread?
It is not like this board is filled up with somewhat OT threads (at least not before this thread was created). Until then I say keep it (even if I have no idea why someone created a second thread covering more or less the same issue - about carbon offset).

Another reason : We should delete this thread because too many people are becoming aware of this conspiracy.... and we want to limit the number of people becoming aware of it becuase it might mean we have to pay more for stuff and change the way we do things.
It's all fake news anyway.
