Unnecessary, over complex, over priced equipment that does nothing to encourage a younger generation.

Longwhite check out the Cabrinha trimlite control bar. It's so incredibly simple I couldn't believe it came from cabrinha. Good for you Cabrinha! Also about $150 less than the other cabrinha control bars. There are other vendors also joining this trend towards simpler control bars, which deserve praise.

Sounds interesting, my friend was stuck on the beach for a full day trying to sort out his cab bar while sick 10fters were pounding the reef.. any improvement on that would be great. Did we take the piss out of over engineering? Oh yes ... lol

Wow......a lot of talk about overly complicated and unnecessary engineering in today's kite gear. Thus resulting in unverified gear failure deaths and a subsequent unattainable price point for the next generation of riders...... What a conundrum. We're so blessed to be enlightened by such purists looking out for the well being of the masses in Kiteboarding!

You guys are spot fuckin on too, I tore apart my Click bar and was horrified by the complex internals. I don't know what fake news purdyd is trying to pull with posting those pics of simple Click bar internals.

Well thankfully there is a solution! You purists can rejoice that this incredibly simple and inexpensive gear IS a reality!

In reality there is nothing purist about it, they do next nothing are heavier, more expensive, more added wear points,harder to maintain and there are more failure points. The engineering considerations just the kind of things I learnt when I did my BEng (Hons).

Overly complicated is fine if you want to have complications, and less money for beer. I for one, do not wish to drop an extra GRAND for two bars because I need a working one and a backup one.
