It is a reflection of the kiting industry in 2019.

Unnecessary, over complex, over priced equipment that does nothing to encourage a younger generation.

Longwhite check out the Cabrinha trimlite control bar. It's so incredibly simple I couldn't believe it came from cabrinha. Good for you Cabrinha! Also about $150 less than the other cabrinha control bars. There are other vendors also joining this trend towards simpler control bars, which deserve praise.
Sounds interesting, my friend was stuck on the beach for a full day trying to sort out his cab bar while sick 10fters were pounding the reef.. any improvement on that would be great. Did we take the piss out of over engineering? Oh yes ... lol

Wow......a lot of talk about overly complicated and unnecessary engineering in today's kite gear. Thus resulting in unverified gear failure deaths and a subsequent unattainable price point for the next generation of riders...... What a conundrum. We're so blessed to be enlightened by such purists looking out for the well being of the masses in Kiteboarding!

You guys are spot fuckin on too, I tore apart my Click bar and was horrified by the complex internals. I don't know what fake news purdyd is trying to pull with posting those pics of simple Click bar internals.
This is what's really inside waiting to kill you:
Automatic-Movement.jpg

The horror!

Well thankfully there is a solution! You purists can rejoice that this incredibly simple and inexpensive gear IS a reality!

I can't wait to kite with you MIT miracle workers when it's blowing onshore 22-35kts in head high surf!

See you in the trees!

(don't forget to THANKS the heck out of this post for it's usefulness, creativity and inspire hope & change for kite simplicity in the future!)
22-35 knots in head high waves, sound pretty gnarr.

For a lake.

In reality there is nothing purist about it, they do next nothing are heavier, more expensive, more added wear points, harder to maintain and there are more failure points. The engineering considerations just the kind of things I learnt when I did my BEng (Hons).

Ban clickbar.

It is!...... on a two line kite and 4 foot bar. Trust me on this one.

It's gravy with today's overly engineered, overpriced, non kid friendly gear.

Nah, will be all good.

No problem, as long as the 4ft bar on the 2 liner is a click bar.

Click bar marketing copy should be studied in marketing MAs.

My fave comment so far is " adjust your click bar while you ride a wave" lmfao

Overly complicated is fine if you want to have complications, and less money for beer. I for one, do not wish to drop an extra GRAND for two bars because I need a working one and a backup one.

So who is overly complicating things here? Those not in the Clique, or those in it?

I even tried this... https://lmgtfy.com
There are NO Click bars for $300. The lowest price is $421 with a CL Kit for a 2019 model. You must be on another planet.

I was sarcastically quoting the dumbass that said you can find them all over the internet for $300.00. You and I are on the same page.

google translate needs this feature, actually no... some of funniest thing i ever heard were people believing sarcastic people, taking them completely seriously.

Ed Bassmaster seems to be the guru of taking his own people for this ride, epic...
