Sort of, Aluula, if its all its cracked up to be, will make a mint on the three strut platform because most kiters by now are late adopters and too risk averse to try what has already Been proven and working well into 4th and 5th generation designs. Clouds have been around for a while and there are a few other brands with strutless offerings but the bulk of the market will opt for single strut in droves rather than take the full plunge.

Probably years away from an aluula strutless kite.

Do you think that TT riders are in decline and all of them will be hydrofoiling in the near future? Do you think that TT and kitesurfboarders will become the minority compared to hydrofoillers?

If so, your only parallel (give me some leeway on being "parallel") is how windsurfing wound up going to only high wind locations with shortboards and more windsnobs than you can shake a stick at.......then dying out.

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but recently I've been speaking to different people and stores who are suggesting building a quiver of different kites in different sizes rather than using an allround kite, which will always be compromised in some way. E.g. boosting kite like rebel for 12m, all around kite like evo for 9m and wave kite for the 7m.

Bit of info added - quiver would be for TT, SB and foil. SB is mostly small messy onshore choppy stuff.

I appreciate this will depend massively on people's individual riding styles, but does anyone do this?

This came about as I currently ride bandits, but now they've split it, think I might get a dedicated kite for riding a certain style in specific wind conditions.

Freeride kites are a good starting point plus a lightwind specific kite.
