Even if I’m having fun, I like to know that someone else is having an amazing time somewhere that’s on my list for the future! Have a great time and I will be awaiting a report along with Hugh2 and a few others!!!

I head there next week... check out this forecast... do I bring my 12m, or just go with the 7 & 9? Seriously. I'm a lightweight at about 155lbs... I won't need the 12m unless this forecast is a total flop, and it hasn't changed in a week... in fact it's gotten even stronger.
I'm going to most likely be kiting in Emerald Bay at the Sandal's resort, but hope to get over to Cocoplum Beach where the gorgeous sandbars and slicks are. I know there's a kite beach area over by Georgetown and Moriah Harbour, but I'm not sure if I'll make it there or not. It's a pretty short trip.
Every time I’ve gone the forecast has been over forecasted. I personally would bring your 12 and 9 and you’ll be covered for the typical winds you see this time of year. My wife and I have been to the island 8 ish times over the past ten years and I have never used anything smaller than a 12 and I’m 170 lbs. I do prefer riding powered and the air there is very humid and warm.
Thanks Ralu81!! I appreciate the advice. I will try to bring all three kites to make sure I'm covered.
Even better... It’s a no brainer to bring all three if you have the space to do so. Let us know how your trip went. Curious what the winds actually ended up being. I had trip that was planned for the past February and it was canceled.
Ok... not a lengthy trip report, but the forecast delivered... it was 25-30 the entire time I went to Aruba 2 years ago, and yes Aruba has more consistent winds day after day, but because I caught it just right, the combination of kite spots and convenience made this a better trip. Emerald Bay and Cocoplum Beach on a NE-ENE wind were spectacular... it had everything from flat water to fun waves. In Aruba we had to drive 40 minutes from the resort area to Boca Grande... or kite in the gusty offshore wind by the "huts" which we didn't like. in Exuma I kited right from the resort in Emerald Bay or drove only 15 minutes to Cocoplum... it was spectacular. Here is a link to some pics... I hope to get a video put together and will post it... could take a while though.
