Hi,
I just got a Ride engine 2019 elite harness and Ion C spreader bar. None of them got a space for a hook knife. I am using the side space in harness where the webbing goes through.
Anyone has any idea better way to keep a knife?
Thanks
Ben

Mystic has a knife with a pouch that allows webbing to run through it. I have many, many hours on mine. Fits my 2018 RE harness perfectly. Knife velcro's into pouch. Windance in Hood River has them, which is where I bought mine.

Ezzycut is the best line cutter you can buy....comes with extra blades and a sheath/holster that attaches to harness webbing.......I have one on each side of my harness....

The first gen has a Velcro pocket for a knife in the sleeve for the Ride Engine spreader bar.

Funnily enough (well, not so funny aksherly) almost had to use a knife yesterday.
Was out by myself in cross on 18-20 knots on a 12m. Came in on the huge sand beach to self land the kite and the f.ucker caught a gust and tried to relaunch! Tried to flag out but a front line had got wrapped on the end of the bar and started dragging me along. So decision, use safety and possibly lose the kit, or cut a line? Reached for a knife (I have two, one each side) then the f.ucker suddenly unwrapped itself and flagged out. Phew. Glad I have the knives 'cos you never know ...

I just got at 2020 Elite and there is a small knife pouch built into the spreader bar padding... Don't think they have changed the bar from 2019 2020 versions...
EDIT - sorry just saw you're not using the RE spreader bar...
