Has anyone tried both 2019 the Cabrinha FX and the Naish dash, and can comment on there freestyle ability on pop and slack?
Thanks a lot

I just love the slack on the Dash. IMHO its better than than FX, but they are both allround good freeride and freestyle kites that i like. Just like the feel on the Dash a bit more.
Test them!

I have just moved from Torch’s to the Dash. I really don’t get people comparing the Dash to the Torch, they are very different kites and behave very differently. The Dash is a good unhooked kite but needs wind to come alive, I found the low end pretty average. All the reviews talked of the dash turning super fast but compared to the Torch it’s a slow kite. I do however rate the dash as an excellent kite and far more gentle in nature than the torch. If you really want a freestyle kite and unhook a lot then hands down get a Naish Torch. If you want and all round kite that can mix up freestyle then get the dash. The torch will have better high end than the fx and dash and it’s an outstanding high wind freestyle kite which rockets you when unhooked for big S-bends, raileys etc...

Thanks
I have been saling the torch before, but stopped after I had
The torch from 2017 where the low end was to bad, I find the torch to be a one trick pony, it only delivers in super power conditions, so Billy when you say the low end on the dash is average how is the dash compered to the torch?
Plus question ! are someone having the quiver 14-12-10?

I bought the 9m,11m and 14m dash and for me at 89kg the dash is the same low end as my Torch’s (9,11 & 14m) there might be a tiny bit in it better for the dash but as the torch is much faster you can work the low end power better. I disagree the Torch is a one trick pony. The Torch was really poor in 2017 & 2018, they got the 5th line length wrong and it lost all low end power. Get a 2016 or 2019 Torch and they are awesome kites.

Thanks Billy
Have you or anyone else tried the new torch because as you also say the 2017 and 2018 are so wrong made.

Not tried but have heard that 2019 and 2020 were much better low end, and more like the good old 2016 torch’s. It seems all Torch riders agree 2017/18 was a turkey year.

I like to try it out myself, but no one is demo the Torch!!
Billy are you using a board from the Naish lineup? Had the monarch earlier back in 2015-2016, when used with boots it came apart. Do you have a good freestyle board you can recommend with a good flex for boots. Thanks

Hi.
Hope someone can give some experience on the torch 2020. Especially on the low end compered to 2017/2018.
Thanks.
