Anne's beach and Curry Hammock Fla keys launches

Postby beebad » Wed Jan 01, 2020 3:08 am

The wind is going to be out of the N-NE tomorrow and more East on thursday.
I think Curry hammock will offer more for my wife and daughter to do while I kite but was wondering if One or the other would be better with the winds in the forecast? Are there launches on the otherside of the key?

Totally misread this...

Annie’s making curry with my daughter
That’ll make me a bit windy
Lost my keys in the hammock

.....NY day eyesight

why wouldn’t i get stupid responses if i make a post without my effin glasses on-Sorry to hold that door open...

I meant to say an east wind at Curry Hammock will be better for me to kite and offer more for my wife and daughter to do there than at Anne’s.

This is more for fellow kiters who are familiar with the area.

where do you kite when wind is more out of the north.
are there other launches besides these two? i was able to kite in cocoa beach on our way down and bypassed the complicated miami kite scene.

thanks for the responses

Happy New Year
