Have now used my 8m in boosting conditions and as expected - it boosts. The kite is grunty and doesn't depower to nothing, you need edging & control, as when really powered up you cant just sheet out and it will switch off. Have not noticed any flattening out (possibly not loading the kite quite like Kev!!). I did notice this with my Edge V8 a little, but the Reedin feels very solid & stable in the air. I changed down to a 7m onto a surfboard and the kite works nicely in waves - albeit it was less than perfect side-on conditions, it does need to be flown & redirected well on the top & bottom turns, but suits my preference of powered wave riding.
The package works well - inflate valve is fast - there are clips on the strut valves and these possibly should be closed after pumping. The line ends could do with slightly better colour coding. So far I have used the 7 & 8 only.

Sounds like I'll be happier sticking with my Pivots. I bought a 2020 10m this summer and it is a dream kite. I now travel to Hatteras with 6, 7, 9, 10, and 11m, aged from 2015-2020, and combined with foiling that covers all likely conditions.
A few Dutch people use them up her in Denmark for 2 weeks ago. But looks like they was beginner so har to say anything about the kites... Had idea to ask if we could swap kites so I could try them but after they was walking cross my line under my launch I didn’t ask the.
Okay i'm gonna admit it; i hate that Reedin brand and i wish Kevin just made Kevvlogs again.
The realities of life that come with getting older.. in a fantasy world Kevin would have the eternal youth and money to keep making fun, boyish Kevvlogs forever with his other responsibilities magically taken care of. I just wish him all the best, he doesn't owe us anything and rightfully should pursue whatever he feels is the next best step in his life.

I honestly considered getting Reedins this season too. I really wanted to support one of my favorite riders (and kite designers) with a young family and help get their feet on the ground with a new business but I just couldn't pull the trigger. I don't like first year anything: with growing pains to work out, a volatile kite market with brands dropping like flies, logistic issues for warranty/repair with no dealer in the state......and the white only kites. Just a few things I couldn't overcome to buy this year.
I've been very happy with my Pivots since 2015, so seeing the LE Pivots sealed the deal.

Sorry Kev/Damien, maybe in a few years I'll revisit the brand.
