In my spots also mostly from 30+ years are kiters. I think naturally (if not parents do kiting and introducing) young people simply have firstly to get step by step: cars, bikes, motocycles, girls, friends parties and when those steps are quite learned and known than interest naturally goes to experience something very new and unusual and usually its kiting. Plus of course kiting needs special conditions, time, money, car, patience and etc.
could have talked about golf...
never saw the parallels till now..😂

I think the participation age group that has been reduced the most in kiting in the last 5-10 years is the 21 -32 yo.

Yes, you're right. It looks pretty standard. I thought like a Pivot with his tips cut square. Surely some video comes up the coming days.
That guess wasn't too far off..... :D

Damien has gathered all the good qualities of the best kites and it is possible that he created something probably the best...

Definitely bigger hang time. But maybe because he perfectly helilooping it ? in most jumps impossible to see kite at all, so, this is key to understand its simply kite better handtime or Kevin's perfect bar movements during landing.

he is heli looping.

Going huge...but other riders do more tricks...see Janek. Let's see if they get his height, but definitely will win if similar height.

Gonna be interesting.

Those clips must've been from the two really strong days in cape town, I doubt that janek would do anything crazy in these conditions. I hope that the wind will be this strong during the event!
